Oracle
Degraded, and saying so
⛔ Heron runs on GIWA with one passive source where three independent ones are required. That is a degraded mode, it is disclosed on every page of this site, and it is not presented as a temporary inconvenience.
A source count alone would not fix it either: three Chainlink USDC/USD proxies
exist on one chain, so "three sources" can mean three copies of one feed. What
matters is effective independence, and the admission checker refuses a chain whose
oracle reports sourceCount without it.
Pyth on GIWA
| Feed | Pyth, live push |
| Cadence | ~5 s |
⚠️ This inverts the finding on Base, where Pyth is roughly five hours stale when read passively. A cadence measured on one chain says nothing about the same oracle on another, which is why it is measured per chain rather than assumed.
What a reading must carry
A price with no reading time is not evidence. Every oracle claim in this system
carries readAt, and the admission checker rejects any chain configuration whose
oracle omits it.
