Getting started

Getting started

Four steps.

1. Connect a wallet

Heron works with any wallet that supports GIWA Sepolia. If you use a GIWA wallet you are already on the right network. Otherwise add the network with:

Network nameGIWA Sepolia
RPC URLhttps://sepolia-rpc.giwa.io
Chain ID91342
CurrencyETH

2. Choose how your money is held

Heron offers two arrangements, and this is the one choice worth reading about before you make it, because they behave differently.

Your own account. A personal account that only you own. Heron holds a limited, expiring permission to act inside it. Best if you want maximum control.

Shared vault. Your deposit joins a pool. Simpler, and refusals are visible on the network without needing a log. Best if you want less to manage.

Safety explains what each one means if something goes wrong.

3. Get test tokens

You need testnet ETH on GIWA Sepolia for gas, and a testnet stablecoin to deposit. Heron does not run a faucet and does not issue either, so both come from GIWA's own testnet resources.

We are not linking one here because we have not verified an official faucet endpoint, and a broken or wrong link on this step is worse than no link.

4. Deposit

Follow Deposit.

What happens next

Heron begins evaluating on its normal cycle. You will usually see a decision within a few minutes, and it may well be a decision to wait. That is normal and it is recorded.
